Joan Torchiana Lynch

Having survived my 28th move and finally settled in, it is now time to update my profile
After graduating from LM, I got my BS in Elementary, Special Ed from West Chester University, taught preschool disabled children for 3 years and then went back for my Masters of Education at Millersville University.
Got married in 71, had my son Jim in 73 and then daughter Joan in 75. We began our many moves mostly between PA and NJ. After almost 35 years of marriage, got divorced did some more moving and now am in Asbury Park, NJ by the beach.
Pictures include Jane and me 50 years later and my two cousins Peter Prince and Rob Brubaker.
I have been Director of several nursery schools and Day care Centers and am still substitute teaching with little ones.
Reconnected with Gene O'Hara in Seattle and with my very special high school friend Jane Young Ambrosia, whom I am lucky enough to see often. In touch with Woody Wood.
Some good memories from LM include learning to whistle while at field hockey practice, something I use to this day to call the children and Jane picking me up every morning in senior year and going to Hymies for chocolate covered crullers
Anxious to see old fiends at reunion. My cousin, Rob Brubaker, who went to junior high with several of our classmates and then finished high school at Harriton, will be joining us.
